Extension of the date of submission of the income tax return for 2024

The Council of Ministers has issued a new Decree, published on 20 June 2025 in the Official Gazette of Republic of Cyprus, granting an extension for the submission of personal income tax returns and the payment of the corresponding tax for tax year 2024.
Who is affected:
- Individuals who are not self-employed
- Self-employed individuals who are not required to prepare audited or reviewed financial statements
New deadline:
The deadline for both submission of the return and payment of the tax is now 30 September 2025.
